  13. My advisor recently bought a powerbook 170, and Apple's modem
  14. (though I warned him I'd read complaints about it on the net).  It
  15. doesn't work with the modem on our system (surprise!) so he's 
  16. trying to get a refund or something.

  18. Has anyone got a suggestion for another modem?  In particular,
  19. the MacZone sells a "PowerModem 24/96 SR Internal" for $215,
  20. which is from PSI, a company of which I know nothing.  Has anyone
  21. used this thing?  Does it work?  Do you know if it's any more or
  22. less reliable than the Apple product?
