  12. When I turned my Mac Plus on this morning, the monitor brightness
  13. varied randomly (it still is).  This is the first time I have noticed
  14. this, and I have been using the machine daily for about two years.

  16. Any ideas?  I looked around for the obvious: magnetic or electrical
  17. field interference.  Nothing untoward showed itself.

  19. The image doesn't move around, only the brightness varies.  If I turn
  20. the brightness down so the desktop is not visible, it will flash into
  21. view every couple of seconds.
