  15. Our lab has several Mac IIfx's connected to Apple 2-page Monochrome
  16. monitors.  We just 
  17. bought some new Quadra 700's and were looking for new 21" monitors to put
  18. on them 
  19. (since the Apple monitor no longer exists).
  20.  
  21. We decided to go with Mirror's 21" GreyScale monitor (plugs into Quadra
  22. on-board video 
  23. and has a clear, crisp picture).
  24.  
  25. However, the screens are *very* dim -- much darker than the Apple tubes
  26. were.  In fact, 
  27. they are dark enough that my eyes hurt after a few hours of work (yes,
  28. i've turned the 
  29. brightness up all the way ;-) ).
  30.  
  31. Has anyone out in Net.Land seen a similar problem? Got any suggestions? 
  32. Alternatively, 
  33. does anyone know of a 21" monitor that is crisp, etc., but bright enough
  34. to use for long 
  35. periods of time?
