- Well, this was asked and answered recently, but I can't remember
- where. Basically, you want to look for the rubric "100-240 V 50-60Hz"
- on the back of the system unit for each device that you plug into the
- mains. If this rubric is present, then the PSU is auto-adjusting, and
- you just need to do a straight plug change. As I recall, all or
- nearly all Macs have auto-adjusting PSUs, but quite a lot of
- peripherals do not.
- Why should taking software be a problem (apart from the fact that it
- is a rip-off over here). Further advice: be prepared for a battle if
- you are carrying your Classic as hand luggage onto the plane. A
- little Mac in a carrry case is _just_ within the permitted size, I think, but
- most airlines will try to make you check it in the hold (you don't
- want to do that).
