- A few days ago I posted wondering about externals to do postal barcodes
- in 4D. The answers I got were to use a barcode font.
- Since then I have gotten more info from the Post Office, and a simple
- barcode font will not work. The reason is that the barcode is not the
- same as regular store barcodes (a simpler barcode because it only needs
- to handle numbers), the barcode needs leading and following bars, and
- the barcode needs its last group to be a correction digit.
-
- So I ask again, Does anyone know of an external for 4D that creates
- postal barcodes. If not does anyone know the specs of externals and
- or sample code so that I could try and code one.
-
- Thanks in advance.

- A summary of all e-mail replies will be posted.
