  12. In MacWeek some time back (March maybe?), I saw a reference to a
  13. Reflex+ SIG some group had formed. Does anyone have information
  14. on this (or other Reflex+ SIGs or user groups in the US)?

  16. FYI: Relfex was originally published by Analytica, a now-defunct
  17. Mac software company I believe. Borland bought the rights to the
  18. program, issued it originally as "Reflex for the Mac", then updated
  19. it (and boosted its price) to "Reflex Plus".

  21. Despite a similarity in NAME to Borland's PC software, "Reflex" (a  
  22. flat-file data manager), Reflex FtM (or Reflex+) was (is) a relational
  23. product, ideal for single-user applications provided total record
  24. numbers don't exceed 5000 or so (in which case speed suffers).

  26. If anyone can tell me the legal status of the product (ie. does Borland
  27. still own it? Is it released into the public domain - that is, orphaned?
  28. etc.), I'd like to know. Mail responses to me directly, if you don't
  29. want to trouble this area with postings on these matters.
