- This is totally dependant on the computer. Note that some notebooks
- have SVGA built in, the LCD generally only does 640x480, but the
- appropriate monitor plugged in will do 800x600 (or more). Some VGA
- boards can be configured as the second adapter so that it won't
- conflict with whatever other display adapter may be present. There are
- probably some machines that can have the on board display adapter
- disabled, but I personally don't know of any.
