- The PS-2's incorporate a lot of interface circuitry on the
- motherboard that would be external on other systems. So not
- only do the extra features (VGA, serial/parallel/mouse ports,
- etc) increase the odds of a motherboard failure just due to the
- extra components, but they also increase the liklihood of
- damage from external sources.
