- Why do you want to unload it? It works equally well for DOS apps. The only
- time I disable smartdrv on a drive is to run Norton's Speed Disk (de-fragment
- the drive), then I turn it back on. This can be done with command line options
- as described in the Windows 3.1 book, on a drive by drive basis (you could
- disable all drives with a bat file).

- Otherwise, the only option is to REM it out of Config.sys and re-boot.
