  13. I have a Gateway2000.
  14. The keyboard is the soft touch type, not the click keyboard.  Very good
  15. keyboard if you like soft touch-- I do.
  16. The computer itself does not feel "like a clone".
  17. Everything about this computer, from the 15" monitor, to the ATI Ultra, to
  18. the Micronics motherboard, to the Western Digital Hard drive,
  19. screams out QUALITY!
  20. I have not had my Gateway for very long yet, so I cannot comment too much
  21. on it's reliability.  But the computer does feel rock solid.

  23. I have nothing against Dell or Zeos.  I'd love to have either one, but they
  24. are very expensive.  If I were going to spend that much money for a name
  25. brand, I would get a Northgate (or Dell).
  26. The Gateway is on the same level as these top brand names, but does not cost
  27. nearly as much.
