  12. Thank you to all who replied to my question about FastMicro, and their 386-40.
  13. From the information I've received, I have decided NOT to buy from FastMicro
  14. and would like to ask suggestions on alternate companied.
  15. My first and foremost concern is Longevity.  I want to buy from a reputable
  16. company that will still be there several years down the line.
  17. Given the choice, I would get a Dell, Northgate, or Zeos.  But I cannot 
  18. afford those big names.  I already have a Gateway, and would definately buy
  19. another Gateway, but I am looking for a better value.
  20.  
  21. I would like:
  22. 386-40 or BETTER
  23. 8 MB RAM
  24. 130 MB Hard drive or bigger
  25. ET4000 video
  26. 15" monitor (Mag Colorview 15" or comparable)
  27. both floppies
  28. 8 exp slots, 4+ drive bays
  29. mini-tower or baby AT case w/ 200w power supply
  30.  
  31. Companies that I would be interested in are Standard, Centrix, KeyData, HD
  32. and any other comparable companies.  I am not interested in any local brands
  33. that sell outrageously cheap computers, or buying at a computer fair.
  34. I want service and reliablity.  No fly-by-night companies.
  35. What do people have to offer?  Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
