- No Michael, my setup was ok in these respects.

- I got many replies by mail. Thanks to all who responded.
- Most of the replies indicated, that people had had the
- same kinds of problems with their ST-02 controllers. It had
- worked with some non-Seagate drives, but these occasions
- were few. What's more surprising - it doesn't seem
- to work with all Seagate drives either.

- Anyway, I've decided to buy the Adaptec-1542B controller.
- So, I guess, my problems will soon be history...
