  10. What laptop's are there around that can be used stand alone yet when
  11. used back at home can be connected to an expansion box which will allow
  12. one to use normal PC cards ?

  14. I know that several (if not more) laptops that will allow connection to
  15. external keyboards / monitors / one pc card (via a special adapter) but none
  16. that do more than that.

  18. What I would ideally like is to have a laptop which when required can be
  19. coupled up to external SCSI disks, tape drive, sound card, monitor,
  20. keyboard, and be used like a desktop PC.
