- The local bus Standard is qutie a viscious hack to allow PC
- users to continue to use their useless ISA cards, and at the same time,
- some new, faster 32bit cards.

- Hopefully, what will happen is that Local Bus will become a standard,
- and systems will come more and more with Local bus, and eventually just
- phase out the ISA standard bus.

- Creating backward compatbility with the ISA bus (much like the EISA
- bus) would probably be a bad ideas as the ISA bus is SO brain damaged that
- it slows the WHOLE thing down.
