  27.     The local bus Standard is qutie a viscious hack to allow PC
  28. users to continue to use their useless ISA cards, and at the same time,
  29. some new, faster 32bit cards.

  31.     Hopefully, what will happen is that Local Bus will become a standard,
  32. and systems will come more and more with Local bus, and eventually just
  33. phase out the ISA standard bus.

  35.     Creating backward compatbility with the ISA bus (much like the EISA
  36. bus) would probably be a bad ideas as the ISA bus is SO brain damaged that
  37. it slows the WHOLE thing down.
