- Lo and behold just as I've given up on Gateway 2000 and their
- Telepath modem I find a COD package is waiting for me at FedEx.
-
- So now the problem is, should I take the plunge and go pay for it
- and pick it up. To answer this I need the answers to a few questions.
-
- 1.) Which UART does it have? Since I'll be using it with either
- Coherent or Linux I >*REALLY*< need a 16550 or SOME kind
- of buffering of the interupts.
-
- 2.) Does the modem support re-trains to a lower and/or
- higher bps as phone lines conditions change?
-
-
- If someone with one of the 'new' Telepaths could answer either
- of these questions it would be greatly apreciated. :)
