- Yet another interesting scenerio..... try to figure this one out!!
- I have a 386-20 with 4 megs of RAM and a math coprocessor. While booting,
- I recieved an error from OS/2 which said: Internal Processing Error at
- Location #0f00:9f70-0002:9f70 60010,6015, blah, blah, blah.....
- After a few more attempts at rebooting, I now get absolutely nothing...
- not even a power up self test. The drives and other accessories receive
- power, so I don't think it is a power supply problem (somebody suggested that
- my power supply went bezerk and fried everthing......however, he is a moron
- and as a characteristic moron, I hope he is wrong.... ;-) )
-
- What I would like to know is the following: without specific testing,
- can anybody make an educated guess at what the hell went wrong? My first
- impulse was to replace the BIOS (well, actually my first impulse was to
- throw it out the window.....). The CMOS had been acting fishy
- previously too, which would be my next guess...
-
- Is there any economical way to fix this, or figure out what is wrong?
-
- Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated......
