- The right way to install it for one. Try using the SETUP program on the
- DOS 5.0 install disks so that the proper DOS files are copied to your
- hard drive in the proper places. If you have the correct DOS 5.0
- distribution disks you can even boot the first disk and it will
- automatically run the SETUP program and do the install. It will NOT
- destroy anything in your current configuration and will even make copies
- of the existing CONFIG and AUTOEXEC files as well as make floppies that
- will let you 'uninstall' DOS 5.0 if it doesn't work properly.
