- Regarding Joe Horn's response stating "never use I/R for printing, which
- is like using the HP as a bulky penlight," I don't use a printer so I
- don't really care but... I thought I read somewhere that the I/R port
- actually uses less power than the serial port. I think this was because
- the I/R only draws power in short pulses (i.e. when the "light" is
- actually on) instead of the serial port, which draws significant power
- continuously. Does this relate to closing the I/O to conserve batteries?
