- EDUCALC has brand new HP-16C`s for sale for $34.95, without manuals.
-
- Having wanted one for years, I immediately ordered one when I found out.
-
- It arrived a bit ago. There are some differences between it and my
- original HP-15C, the logo is brushed metal on the 16C, and polished
- on the 15C. There is an FCC class B notice on the 16C, but not on
- my 15C, and the keycaps look like they were painted over keys from
- an HP-11C or HP-15C. I cannot see enough to tell which.
-
- The display is also slightly better on the 15C, the LCD segments are
- bolder.
-
- But it is indeed an HP-16C, the ultimate bit twiddling device. Wish I
- had had it when I wrote my assembler. The HP-42S is rather akward for
- this sort of thing.
-
- I am at work, and do not have educalc's number available. Perhaps
- someone who has it handy might post it?
