  18. EDUCALC has brand new HP-16C`s for sale for $34.95, without manuals.

  20. Having wanted one for years, I immediately ordered one when I found out.

  22. It arrived a bit ago. There are some differences between it and my
  23. original HP-15C, the logo is brushed metal on the 16C, and polished
  24. on the 15C. There is an FCC class B notice on the 16C, but not on
  25. my 15C, and the keycaps look like they were painted over keys from
  26. an HP-11C or HP-15C. I cannot see enough to tell which.

  28. The display is also slightly better on the 15C, the LCD segments are
  29. bolder.

  31. But it is indeed an HP-16C, the ultimate bit twiddling device. Wish I
  32. had had it when I wrote my assembler. The HP-42S is rather akward for
  33. this sort of thing.
