  10. I have a customer who is trying to develop a device driver for a 3rd party 
  11. board, eisa, that plugs into a 720. They have the device drivers developers
  12. manuals.  They have found 2 things that the documentation references but
  13. does not explain.

  15. 1) a device driver configuration file is require, it should be supplied by the
  16. manufacture.  The format of this file is not defined, and the board is a
  17. custom design.  Where can I get info on what the configuration file should
  18. look like?

  20. 2) A "id" is required.  There is no specification of what the id looks like,
  21. how to create it, set it etc. Again please direct me to info on how to create
  22. the device driver id.
