  16. I will agree that HP terminals are a bit weird.

  18. However, arrow keys on hpterm will transmit escape sequences if the
  19. transmit functions strap is set.

  21.     To set the strap,   use the sequence ESC&s1A
  22.     To clear the strap, use the sequence ESC&s0A
