- This is true on the above systems. Unfortunately, there is apparently NO
- way of changing this on the 700 series. Why not?

- The Centronics standard is not the IBM PC parallel standard -- but they
- are very close. Many printers are designed to automatically handle
- either one, so you don't care. Most parallel drivers are designed to be
- able to drive either "standard". The 700 series lacks this ability. :^(
- I want to connect a Dataproducts LZR1560 to my 750 parallel port.
- Unfortunately, this printer only talks IBM PC parallel. :^( again!

- I care because I need a Postscript printer that can handle 8.5x11 and
- 11x17. My only options appear to be the QMS ($$$) or the Dataproducts.
- So, got any solutions for us 700 series folks?
