  13. I'm trying to use fbackup to do a full backup of one 9000/730 (8.05) 
  14. onto a DDS connected to a second 9000/730 (also 8.05). I'm having 
  15. no success with the following:

  17.     fbackup -0 -g /tmp/backuplist -f able.baker:/dev/rmt/0m
  18.  
  19. After starting up, fbackup terminates with a message to the effect
  20. that there is no such machine as 'able.bake' known to it. When I 
  21. try the IP number instead of the name, I get a similar termination
  22. message; machine '123.45.67' is not responding. (Specifying just
  23. 'able' is not sufficient for the nameserver.)

  25. The bottom line is that no matter what I specify as the remote machine
  26. name, fbackup seems to only pay attention to the first 9 characters of
  27. that name (or IP number).

  29. Is there some way to accomplish my goal of doing this remote backup?
