- These files contain records logged by the kernel drivers (the diagnostic
- logging system writes its own records to these files if it is having
- problems). From the size of your files it sounds like your system has a
- recurring problem (e.g., a SCSI bus with termination or cable length
- problems, a disk with hardware or media problems, use of a DDS with
- dirty heads or worn tape, an improperly configured diagnostic system).
- Have HP Support review the log files.
