- Can somebody give me some advice on getting a HP LaserJet IIID with an HP
- Postscript cartridge to work off an HP 425S (HP-UX 7.05) via an RS-232
- connection? If the Postscript cartridge is not installed it works fine by
- specifying the "laserjet" printer model when setting it up with lpadmin.
- However, with the Postscript cartridge installed I guess it no longer acts
- enough like a LaserJet to work. I tried specifying the "dumb" model hoping it
- would just pass the data to the printer but nothing ever came out. None of the
- HPUX documentation mentions anything about Postscript, and none of the LaserJet
- documentation mentions HP-UX so I'm a bit lost.
-
- Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
