- I have also been frustrated by this problem. It occurs with a 720
- running HP-UX 8.07 and a 400 running HP-UX 8.0, typically taking about
- 10 minutes to create an hpterm and display it on a Sparc 2 running
- OpenWindows 3. However, an 847 running HP-UX 8.02 does not exhibit the
- problem. What(1) reports:
-
- 720
- /usr/bin/X11/hpterm:
- X Window System, Version 11 HP-UX 8.07 A.04.00 IF2 $Revision: 2.73 $
- 400
- /usr/bin/X11/hpterm:
- X Window System, Version 11 HP-UX 8.0 68K A.04.00 $Revision: 2.69 $
- 847
- /usr/bin/X11/hpterm:
- X Window System, Version 11 HP-UX 8.0 A.04.00 $Revision: 2.68 $
-
-
- Shall we report it to HP or Sun?
