- Hello again. When I boot up my system for the first time, the floppy
- drives aren't recognised. I bought the system from a friend, and he
- says it's because the machine boots from hard drive and doesn't get
- around to checking for floppies - if I reset they appear fine, or if
- I change the number of installed drives using Control Panel++ then
- there's no problem. So this isn't a catastrophe, just a minor
- inconvenience. The thing is, when I bought this ST it had a program
- in the AUTO folder called 'TWODRIVE.PRG' which told the ST there
- were two drives attached, but I accidentally lost it. The program
- was actually written by my friend, and he's lost the source, so I
- can't get another copy, but if this is a common problem then there
- must be something similar around in PD. Can anyone help?
