  13. So in all of this discussion..no one has seem to come up with a 
  14. solution.  It is apparent that we have a computer that is useless
  15.  wtihout software. Point: You can't buy the software!
  16. So, what do we do? 
  17. In the very least, the Atari Corp. has an implied warranty with it's
  18.  consumers, namely that it's computers would be suitable for the 
  19. purposes for which it was advertised..
  20. It is not!  Therefore, I suggest the following:
  21.  
  22. 1.) The Atari corp must take the lead in this matter..releasing all
  23. 8bit software that is under their control to the public domain, perhaps
  24. establishing a BBS for user access..ideally both the sofware and the 
  25. Source Codes..This seems only fair, since 8-bit users have indeed 
  26. spent considerable sums which have directly benefited the Atari Corp.

  28. 2.) If not, then any person who buys an Atari product is CRAZY !
  29. Sorry to say, but ST users are setting thmselves up for the same fall that we have taken.  There is NO WAY 
  30. that I will invest my money in an Atari product until I see some 
  31. change in the way this corp treats it's customers.  I think that anyone 
  32. who feels the same way should let these people know about it.
