  12.     I've encountered a couple of odd problems with Proterm 3.0:

  14. 1)  ASCII Send from the editor (Apple-D) sometimes sends along the AppleWorks
  15.     3.0 ruler (looks like ".RtL-----|----|----|----|-- etc." along with the
  16.     rest of the text.  The highlighted portion in the editor does not show
  17.     this header, nor is the file even an AppleWorks file.  Related problem:
  18.     sometimes the AppleWorks header is saved even when I select the text
  19.     file type.

  21. 2)  I can't figure this one out:  I've downloaded several large GIF's (all
  22.     over 300K) from different systems during the past week.  All of them
  23.     are corrupted at my end.  They are fine at the BBS end, so something
  24.     must have screwed up during transit.  None of the GIF viewers I have
  25.     will correctly decode the files.  However, large ShrinkIt files come
  26.     across uncorrupted.  What's going on here?
