- I've encountered a couple of odd problems with Proterm 3.0:
-
- 1) ASCII Send from the editor (Apple-D) sometimes sends along the AppleWorks
- 3.0 ruler (looks like ".RtL-----|----|----|----|-- etc." along with the
- rest of the text. The highlighted portion in the editor does not show
- this header, nor is the file even an AppleWorks file. Related problem:
- sometimes the AppleWorks header is saved even when I select the text
- file type.
-
- 2) I can't figure this one out: I've downloaded several large GIF's (all
- over 300K) from different systems during the past week. All of them
- are corrupted at my end. They are fine at the BBS end, so something
- must have screwed up during transit. None of the GIF viewers I have
- will correctly decode the files. However, large ShrinkIt files come
- across uncorrupted. What's going on here?
