-
- Since I asked that question I've looked into it more. Some British Amiga
- magazines claim production of the A500 has stopped. C= has not said
- anything to that effect.
-
- The A600 has received very positive reviews, in part due to the PCMCIA
- slot (which will help with the piracy issue) and the built in IDE
- controller for inexpensive drives. At the US price, one shouldn't be
- thinking of expanding this into a Video Toaster computer. As it is, the
- PCMCIA slot provides a lot of expansion possiblities, there will be
- a CDTV compatible drive for the A600 in the fall (W of C), IDE HD's are
- becoming very inexpensive and small.
-
- The A600 may not suit the emulator people, but then again you don't buy
- such a computer for those purposes.
