- I have an old Signalman Mark I RS-232 modem made by Anchor Automation (remember
- those old things? I figured this would be the best place to post this Q
- considering how many there are in this group that would remember those days).
- Anyway, when I bought my Kaypro II, the modem came as part of the package from
- the dealer, but it came with NO INSTRUCTIONS. Needless to say, I never could
- get it up and running, so I stuffed it back into the closet. Now I'm interested
- in getting the thing up and running again, but I don't have the foggiest idea
- how to use it. It just has a voice/data switch on it and a Handset and Telset
- phone line plug set. I've recently come across ads for this creature in OLD
- OLD Compute! magazines talking about its automatic answer/originate switching,
- etc., but I don't know how to get the thing going regardless. Anyone
- familiar with the thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
