-
- The one thing that irks me about CED is that it's macro's aren't
- EDITABLE!
-
- I have a project in mind to attack the cedmacro's file, and
- create an AREXX macro file from it, which you could update, and
- then put back into cedmacro format, BUT my life doesn't allow me
- time for such diversions.
-
- I've asked this before; has anyone any solution to the 'editing a
- Cygnus Ed Macro' problem, other than either recreating the
- keystrokes required, or purchacing another editor that supports a
- better Macro capability? [such as TurboText, which I *hate* -
- remember, editors are an item of religion! :-)]
-
- One thing that QED can do better than CED is global replace. It's
- about four times quicker than CED's turbo replace!
-
- [And CED's replace function is about an order of magnitude faster
- than ANY IBM editor I've ever had to use.]
