- Greetings to all Game and Demo writers.
-
- Rincewind, of the Southern Guild, here.
-
- We are a Brisbane (Australia) based group and are just getting serious.
-
- I am currently trying to write a couple of smooth scrolling games and am
- having trouble coming up with algorithms for scrollers that use minimal
- chip memory and raster time and run at 50 frames/sec.
-
- If anyone wants to swap ideas regarding smooth scrolling, or any game/demo
- coding techniques, please email me at:
-
- podesta@qut.edu.au
-
- or post to:

-
- p.s. I should be releasing my first (decent) demo this weekend, and uploading
- it to ftp sites on the monday. It's called, the Jungle Demo and has some nice
- logo flipping/waving effects and a small dual-playfield shootem'up down the
- bottom.
-
- Rincewind.
