- I had a similar error some time ago, when i was testing around on my 0.5 meg
- memory expansion for my A500. The three columns occur, if the internal
- clock is has no valid setting. (Perhaps the clockchip is damaged.)
- It was very funny: After a had repaired my memory expansion, the clock was
- not working any more. I thought I have damaged the chip (OKI 6424, I think)
- which seems to be a CMOS chip. Ok, I went to an electronics dealer to buy a
- new one and heard, that it costs about 40,- DM (thats about US $25) and I
- decided not to buy a new one, because that was too expensive for me.
- After two month (!) the clock suddenly began to work again!!! No joking!!!
-
- So try the command "setclock opt load"! I think that's the reason for the
- errormessage!
