- There are two units offered by DAK for $199. The one in the catalog is
- not a full SCSI drive. The NEC internal CDR-80 is a full SCSI device but
- has been backordered for months. I'm still waiting for mine.

- It's convenient if you have more than one caddy since you don't have to
- keep changing the CD in your only caddy. So it would be nice if your drive
- had a standard caddy, making it easier for you to buy spares.

- The caddy protects the CD from scratches and such which might interfere
- with reading data. I don't know how much of a potential problem that is.
