  19. Actually, I have a better parallel.  Imagine trying to spiff up a Yugo
  20. to the performance of a Corvette.  You'd have to literally reshape the
  21. Yugo's internal structure to that of the Corvette (ignore the practical
  22. impossibility of this situation :).  In the end, you've got your Yugo that
  23. can be a Corvette, but it would have been better and cheaper if you had
  24. simply bought a Corvette and saved yourself the trouble.

  26. On the other hand, if you have a Corvette and want to have the option of
  27. making it perform like a Yugo (because, for instance, the Yugo has some
  28. special feature available exclusively to it), the hardware changes required
  29. are imaginably small, if existent.

  31. BTW, don't you think it's a bit ironic that, in THIS country anyways, a
  32. computer's degree of capability is inversely proportional to its popularity?
