- Have you tried this from the cli:

- format drive <deviceName> name <name> FFS

- (I'm away from my Amiga, but I beleive the syntax is correct)

- You will be instructed to insert a disk, just hit return and it should
- do an AmigaDos format.

- In my case, the device name is dh0: and name is dh0. I'm using the Spartan
- interface and device driver. There is a section in my mountlist for
- dh0: which also calls out the fast file system and the spartan device
- driver, and other things
