- When I decided to switch from PAL to NTSC because of the flickering, I used
- a little PD prog that made the job for me. It's called SetDefaultMonitor
- and kind of simulates the hardware solution. There are more of these
- utilities in the PD, I guess they all do the job equally well. I have no
- problems at all, and all screens are opened as NTSC screens now. If not,
- the programs are newer ones that provide a way to configure their screen.
- The great advantage is, I could always switch back to PAL without opening
- my Amiga, if I wanted to (but definitely I don't! :-)
-
- If you have problems (like I had some) switching by software, contact me,
- I'll do my best to help you.
-
- Anyway, I'd also be interested which is the magic jumper making the
- decision on PAL or NTSC, flicker or not (less) flicker, Europe or States?
