  28.     The cheapest I have found 3M tapes for is from Dartek.  The DC6150
  29.  is $24.95 in 1-4 quantities. They have an 800 number so call 800
  30.  directory assistance to get it as I dont have it here.

  32.     I was able to get the Sony tapes , 6150`s, to write a full tape but
  33.  I have problems on reads.  I have to clean the head after *every*
  34.  tape!!  Then I have no problems.  When I use 3M's I can follow the
  35.  manufacturers spec and clean the head every 8 hours of use and
  36.  everything is fine.
