  14. I've done this questions to several people and the answers I'm getting
  15. about it are not very fulfilling.  So I'm trying my question again
  16. for the first time in comp.sys.amiga.hardware.
  17.  
  18. I bough this used A1000.  I know that it is an old machine however
  19. a couple of persons have told me that "You can put 8Meg's RAM and a SCSI(sp)
  20. drive in it".  I started to read this group and you talked 'bout the
  21. "Rejuvenator(sp)" board for $500 bucks.  Also about a lot of hack's that
  22. a common engineer can do with a solder and a bunch of chips and dips.

  24. So these are my questions:

  26. 1.  In a nutshell, what upgrades can be done with the A1000??

  28. 2.  What's the price range of some of them??
  29.  
  30. 3.  What companies are selling upgrades for the 1000??
  31.  
  32. 4.  If the peripherals that are sold for the 500 are also used in the
  33. 1000, what things I should be looking for??

  36. I'm planning to upgrade my machine in the near future so I can do any useful
  37. programming with it.  I'll appreciate any response and thanks in advance.
