- What happened is about 6 years of evolution... you really should upgrade to
- another Amiga/Workbench ASAP. WB2.04 is WELL worth the effort.

- This is not a problem of backward compatibility... WB2.04 IS very compatible with
- WB1.3 programs... it's a problem of FORWARD compatibility with respect to you...
- do you REALLY believe that Commodore should not add to the workbench just so the
- handful of people like you who haven't upgraded can remain current... if they
- did that, then they might as well just stop all development... to develop a new
- Workbench means adding features... obviously software written for the new
- OS is not going to work with your system if it's so far behind the times...
- things just don't work that way... on ANY system.
