  11. I have 2 Q40S hard drives on my system.  I went on vacation and when
  12. I came back, one seemed to be acting up.  I did a little experimenting
  13. and found that I cannot write to the drive.  The system validates it
  14. and most of the time I can read the data(occational checksum errors).

  16. I tried to re-format the drive and while the format appeared suscessful
  17. it did not change the disk!  HDtoolbox when asked to verify the disk
  18. will flash up the window and return almost immediately saying it verifyied
  19. and is ok.  The other drive takes about a minute and a half to verify.

  21. I even tried a different cable on the hard drive.  This drive was working
  22. fine for many months now.  Does anyone have any ideas?
