  29. I would also check that the cord to the LED is connected at both ends. They
  30. can become disconnected fairly easily. If the LED is burned out, you would
  31. probably have smelled it. I burned out an LED once (around 1980 or so) and it 
  32. wasn't a pleasant smell. :-)
