  28. Hmm. Are you sure you have set the NCOMM-baudrate to more than 2.4k??? 
  29. Second: (but this should produce other syptoms), are you using a correct 
  30. modem-cable (with pin 1 through 8 and 20 plain across), and RTS/CTS hand- 
  31. shaking???
