- If all you want to do is read an encyclopedia or something that normally is
- free (things you can do at the library).

- Since this group is talking about Amigas, we would need to look at the Amiga
- sig, THAT costs $$$$$$$. Absurd amounts in MHO. On portal I get 9600 BPS
- at a little more than $1 per hour. Internet mail, HUGE databases on Portal
- and conferencing with al the right people. Why would anyone want to spend
- those huge hourly rates in CI$? Maybe for AP news and such, but for Amiga
- interests, nothing can come close to Portal.
