- I bought one of these V.32bis Supra Fax modems. I have tried it
- with AtalkIII (?the program that came with it) and JR-commm to
- connect to PP&S modems (at work) which are 2400 baud with
- V.32bis, MNP-5, V.32, V.42, etc. AtalkIII seems to be a little
- faster, but doesn't tell me a speed. JR-comm in ymodem-batch,
- says it is getting 96 char/sec. I think my old 1200 baud modem
- was doing this well. Am I doing something wrong?
-
- I read somewhere that I should turn off MNP-5, but don't see how
- to do it with either program.
