- There are apparently two standard underlying mailers, sendmail and UPAS.
- We are converting from sendmail to UPAS where I am and are replacing
- sendmail with a wraparound to UPAS.
-
- What I have discovered looking at our AMS code is that AMS does not call
- sendmail directly but seems to have its own sendmail that calls on
- primatives more deeply embedded. Most of our mailers work fine with the
- substitution described above. AMS does not. It gives an error when I
- try to send mail.
-
- Is there a version of AMS that uses UPAS? Can AMS be converted to work
- with UPAS? Any thoughts?
