  12. Can someone help me find robots!

  14. The Tech Museum of Innovation is a hands on museum that displays advanced
  15. technology to the general public. Similar to the Exploritorium in 
  16. San Francisco.
  17. There are six areas that the museum is currently exhibiting, these are;
  18. Astronomy, Material Sciences, Bicycles, MicroElectronics, Biotechnology and
  19. Robotics. The Museum is located in Downtown San Jose, Silicon Valley.

  21. Every so often the Museum has fund raising events. This time they will be 
  22. putting on a theatrical show. One part of the show will be to use some
  23. industrial robots in a choreographed ballet. 
  24.  
  25. The problem I am faced with is that I need to find out where I can borrow some
  26. robots to help put on the show. The person who is choreographing the show
  27. is Margo Apostolos, she has about 10 years of experience doing this sort of
  28. robot dance, but she does not have access to any robots.

  30. Generally, I would summarize the robot needs as follows:
  31.  
  32. 1. Three or Four industrial robotic arms with teach pendants and computer.
  33. 2. Robots should have five or more degrees of freedom.
  34. 3. Robots should be electric.
  35.  
  36. The specific type of robots that I am looking for are PUMA 760 or 560,
  37. U.S. Robot Maker 110 or 100, Robotics Research Corporation robots K1207 
  38. or K2107. But any robot with the above constraints will work.

  40. If any one can loan these types of robots, or knows somebody who can, please

  44. I would prefer that any robots be located in the Bay area, but that is not 
  45. a limitation.

  47. The relationship I have with the Tech Museum is that I volunteer my time
  48. to help promote the technology amongst the people. This is not an advertisement
  49. to go to the Tech Museum, but it is a lot of fun.
