After 1 week of trying EVERYTHING I can think of I have trashed
WinQVT and am actively looking for a replacement.
I posted 4 times describing my problems and got NO responses.
Hello... is there anybody out there???
I'm using a Dell 486P/50, 8mb ram, 120mb hd, SMC elite 16 combo
enet card, DOS 5, win3.1 and WinQVT/Net 2.6 with the latest odi
drivers.
What happens is the term type QVT sends to the host is very erratic.
Most of the time the host receives 'dec vt100'. It should get
'dec-vt100'. The '-' is getting replaced with a ' '. Notice I said 'most of the time'. On occasion the term type will be 'dec-vt100', but this is rare.
It sounds like a timing problem. We have 2 other systems identical
to mine and they all exhibit the same behavior. So that removes
the possibility of it being something wrong with my setup.
Has ANYONE seen this type of behavior on a 50Mhz 486?? I have set
my config.sys, autoexec.bat, and net.cfg files to the bare minimum
for odi and I still have the same problem.
I used QVT for a couple of months on a 16Mhz 386sx with no problems.
I have the exact same config on both pc's. The ONLY difference is
