  14. Need some help-

  16. One of our network people wants to have only one
  17. hostname associated with each router but still
  18. be able to assign addresses to the various interfaces.
  19.  
  20. I noticed in the DNS docs that this is possible if
  21. the name field is left blank. When this happens the
  22. address is associated with the previous resource name.
  23. The documentation does not explain, however, if that
  24. is indeed the purpose of this feature.

  26. I would welcome any comments or caveats concerning
  27. this configuration plan.
